Sarah Thaggard


 Baking has always been a passion of mine, but it wasn't until 2017 that it became my career choice. I was attending the University of Montana for Microbiology and wasn't enjoying it like I had assumed I would. When a local bakery posted a position for a pastry chef, I submitted my portfolio. I was shocked when I got an interview! It was a massive shift in my plans and I jumped in head first and I've never looked back. I moved to Helena in 2019 and was able to begin The Golden Whisk. With a great deal of time, dedication, and support from my amazing customers, business is booming and I'm constantly striving to offer the best creations I can! Baking is very special to me and the ability to share my delicious treats with people while sharing their special moments is the best thing I could ever ask for!
